For certain types of products it is necessary to obtain an import license from CCIE. Depending on the product, the license can be either automatic or non-automatic.

One should ensure that imported goods do not fall into the category of prohibited goods. These goods cannot be imported, exported, transited, sold or circulated.

Bangladesh importer need to apply to Department of Agricultural Extension for an Import autorization, Gob books (depending on the plant or animal nature being imported)
